Josef Kolmaš’ "The Iconography of the Derge Kanjur and Tanjur" published in 1978 was created through a warm relations with the author's teacher Yu Daoquan. Yu Daoquan played an important role as Kolmaš himself did not get to Derge, for political reasons. This province is a major Tibetan texts press centre located right on the border between Sichuan Province and the Tibetan Autonomous Region.

Ikonografie Kandžuru a Tandžuru z Derge od Josefa Kolmaše vydaná v roce 1978 vznikla na základě vřelých vztahů s autorovým učitelem Yu Daoquanem. Yu Daoquan sehrál důležitou roli, protože Kolmaš sám se do Derge z politických důvodů nedostal. Tato provincie je významným centrem tisku tibetských textů, které se nachází přímo na hranici mezi provincií S'-čchuan a Tibetskou autonomní oblastí.
